With the Elimination Chamber having taken place, and the dust settling regarding Roman Reigns as the winner, it appears as though a number of interesting possibilities could present themselves for feuds or matches at this year's Wrestlemania approaching.
While the road to Wrestlemania may have begun with the Royal Rumble, that doesn't mean that everything still to happen between the Raw after the Elimination Chamber and the Monday before Wrestlemania couldn't take that road in some different directions.
Keep in mind, these are simply feuds being speculated upon, based on relationships that appear to have been established among the different characters.
Each of the wrestlers involved could have these feuds revolve around some bone of contention, something they want to get off their chest, and someone they want to make the brunt of their frustration. Who are the principles of these possible rivalries, and why would they want to take issue with their potential adversary?
Here are five potential feuds that we could anticipate coming out of the 2018 Elimination Chamber.
#5. Kurt Angle, Ronda Rousey, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H
There were interesting developments during the Ronda Rousey contract signing, which occurred at the Elimination Chamber pay per view. When Rousey came out, she appeared nervous and somewhat timid, but both Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were quick to highlight just how much she would mean to Raw and the women's division. However, then Raw General Manager Kurt Angle could stay silent no longer and shared what he claimed Stephanie had said about Rousey to him.
He repeated comment after comment that suggested that hinted at something big coming. Could that mean a mixed match at Wrestlemania involving the four of them? Could the stipulation be that, if Kurt loses he will no longer, be the Raw General Manager? Or perhaps if Rousey wins she is given a women's championship match.
Rousey being very green, this would be a chance to integrate her with the company slowly, as this would be her first match. We never did find out who she would face at Wrestlemania, but if this moment suggested anything, it was the impression that these four are set to face-off.
#4. Seth Rollins and Finn Balor
They have zero animosity towards one another, neither man dislikes the other in the slightest. However, while watching the entire men's Elimination Chamber match, we saw two men who are among the most talented on the roster, regardless of where they are on the card or who they are feuding with.
On a recent edition of Monday Night Raw, fans saw once again just how incredibly talented and capable Rollins is, as he fought for over an hour. In the case of Finn Balor, he hasn't been put in a position to capture the WWE Universal championship.
This leads us to what could be on the horizon for these two: Balor and Rollins are not enmeshed in any feuds, but many will recall that a match between these two was what determined the inaugural WWE Universal champion.
With Rollins demonstrating unquestionable stamina and Balor, who lasted almost an hour in this year's Royal Rumble, a tremendous athlete in his own right, we could ideally see a match that allows both men to showcase who is the true iron man, in a contest that would go 60 minutes.
#3. John Cena and The Undertaker
This match and feud may have little to no long-term implications. However, over the course of the last twenty years, a confrontation between these two men is likely based on a number of different factors.
Many will recall that last year's Wrestlemania was not the most impressive showing for the Undertaker, and in saying that, he would want to redeem himself since it appeared his showing was marred by injury, causing him to slow down and not perform like fans know he is capable of.
For Cena, he is as committed to his ventures outside WWE as he has ever been, but that doesn't mean he doesn't love to perform in front of an audience. Much like his feuds with the Miz and Roman Reigns, and his ability to elevate both men through promos, this feud appears to be the best option for both men, with whoever wins or loses really having nothing held against them in the eyes of the fans.
Both men are certain to be a part of the WWE's Hall of Fame and have wrestled nearly their entire career for the promotion.
#2. The Miz and Braun Strowman
Will he get these hands? During their match as part of a team at Backlash, The Miz had the rest of their team work together to take Braun Strowman out of the matchup. And they were teammates! One has to think that Strowman hasn't forgotten, and it could certainly be the case the incident at Backlash isn't the only reason the Monster Among Men has issues with The Miz. There could be something more recent to be angry about.
The Elimination Chamber match will determine who will face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal championship at Wrestlemania. And while some may scoff at the idea, there very well could be an instance where the Miz costs Strowman his chance at the title by having him eliminated from the match, likely with the assistance of the Miztourage.
Strowman's sheer rage at losing his opportunity could certainly be reason enough to want to get his hands-on the Miz.Wrestlemania could be the best opportunity for him to do that, with the Intercontinental championship laying in the balance.
#1. Braun Strowman to be added to the WWE Universal Championship match at Wrestlemania
He is the Monster Among Men and the man (or monster) that single-handedly pinned five other men during the Elimination Chamber match. Strowman showed some incredible feats of strength, overcoming the finishers of nearly the entire contingent of participants in the match, with the exception of Roman Reigns.
While he may have been the final man eliminated from the chamber match that doesn't mean it is the end of Strowman's pursuit of a Universal championship match at Wrestlemania.
We could see a situation where he once again holds the entire roster hostage, beating everyone and anyone until he gets what he wants and is part of the match. After the Elimination Chamber match was over and Reigns' hand was raised in victory, Strowman put the winner in a pod, making the winner seem like the loser.
Perhaps we could see a focus put on the fact that Strowman deserves to be involved in the main event against Lesnar because he was never pinned the last time he competed against Brock.
