#4 Edge could challenge Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship
As he mentioned in his promo, Edge was forced to vacate the World Heavyweight Championship in 2011. The sudden nature of his retirement was evident, with the 11-time world champion's final reign coming to an abrupt end. He vowed to win the Royal Rumble Match and take back the world title at WrestleMania.
As a certified main event megastar and former Royal Rumble winner, Edge does have a chance of winning the 30-man melee. It wouldn't be the most unpopular move WWE makes. While a battle of the spears with Roman Reigns would be extremely fun, The Tribal Chief has too much else happening on SmackDown.
A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.
This leaves Edge with a possible WrestleMania date with Drew McIntyre. Considering how hastily booked RAW is, The Rated-R Superstar could eventually be penciled in for a WWE Championship match at 'Mania. Edge already told a good part of that story in his promo.
The WWE Hall of Famer could even turn heel before WrestleMania to feud with McIntyre. It may be a bold move, but Edge has always been so much better as a villain in WWE. This match is the biggest possible one that Drew McIntyre could have at WrestleMania 37.
