Since making a shocking appearance on SmackDown last Tuesday, the WWE Universe has been buzzing about the potential new match ups they could see Kevin Owens engage in on the blue band. The prizefighter has been one of the best workers in the WWE over the past two years and has now been rewarded by getting moved to the WWE’s A-show.
After Kevin Owens inevitably defeats Chris Jericho at WWE Payback, the former Universal Champion will become the centrepiece of SmackDownLive. When this transition officially happens, the US Champion will be potentially locking horns with so many new WWE Superstars.

As the heart & soul of SmackDownLive, nobody can reach the pinnacle of Tuesday nights without going through AJ Styles first. The Phenomenal One has made the blue brand his home and it’s only right the hottest act in sports entertainment takes on Kevin Owens.
After winning the U.S title no.1 contender’s match on SmackDown, Styles could possibly be facing Owens after the Payback PPV.
As two veterans of the industry, it’s almost guaranteed that Styles & Owens would put on an instant classic. A heel Owens versus a babyface Styles is a money match made for Summerslam. Why? The wrestling would be great, they’re both effective talkers and brilliant in-ring storytellers.
