The newly crowned North American Champion could also make for an interesting first feud fror Killer Kross. Introducing Kross directly into a title picture could make him come across like a huge deal to the NXT audience who may not be very familiar with the new Superstar.

What if, after Keith Lee retains his title in Portland at NXT Takeover, Kross jumps the rail and lays out the champion? It would be instant heat on Kross, as he would be going after possibly the biggest breakout star of 2019 and one of the top babyfaces on NXT. Kross may get an immediate shock-value pop, but the fans would likely be very quick to change their tune upon seeing Lee left lying on the mat.

Both men are outstanding wrestlers, and Kross, at 6'4'' and in the range of 250 pounds, is a man who can definitely stand toe-to-toe with the towering North American Champion. Lee may have a weight advantage on him (and just about everyone else) but Kross is a taller man and has muscles on top of muscles. The rivalry would prove to be one of Lee's biggest tests to date in NXT.
