Drew McIntyre was reportedly on the verge of a call-up, when an injury foiled all plans. He is set to return next year, and when he does, we have a feeling that a jet pack will be strapped to him. McIntyre has everything it takes to be WWE's next top star. He has the physique, in-ring skills and is also quite competent on the microphone.
Perhaps the first step on his quest for world domination is a tryst with the Beast Incarnate. In many ways, this may be a bigger program than a mid-card title shot. Win or lose, a shot at Lesnar will definitely elevate Drew McIntyre.
When Brock Lesnar tries his best, he is an incredible in-ring worker. McIntyre has proved, time and again, that he's one of the best in the world.
If booked right, this program could be a slobberknocker.
