Samantha Irvin shared an interesting Instagram post today on social media, seemingly announcing that her time in WWE had come to an end. The RAW ring announcer took to social media to announce that her time on the red brand was over and delivered a heartfelt message to her peers.

She thanked Triple H, Paul Heyman, Michael Cole, Road Dogg, Mark Henry, and many more in her message. Several WWE stars have already reacted to her sudden departure and noted that they loved working with her.

#5. Samantha Irvin may have wanted to do more on WWE television

Samantha Irvin has become a star on her own and has stood out as a ring announcer. She made every entrance for each star on the roster unique and was emotionally invested in the product as well.

Irvin may have wanted to expand her role in WWE and take on projects outside of ring announcing, and the company might not have had other plans for her. She may have concluded that there were better opportunities out there for herself and decided to chase them by abruptly exiting the company.

#4. She may want to reunite with Ricochet in AEW

Samantha Irvin is in a relationship with former WWE Superstar Ricochet in real life. The veteran departed the promotion earlier this year and was written off television following an attack by Bron Breakker on the June 10 edition of RAW.

Ricochet has since signed with All Elite Wrestling and made his debut at All In 2024. The 36-year-old competed for the International Championship in an acclaimed match at WrestleDream earlier this month but came up short.

Irving could decide to reunite with Ricochet in All Elite Wrestling, and the two stars could become a power couple in the promotion.

Before wrestling, Samantha Irvin was an accomplished singer. She made it to the semifinals of season 10 of America's Got Talent and has shown off her singing voice on WWE television as well.

Irvin could decide to parlay her fame from wrestling into a successful music career. The 36-year-old may have dreams of being a musician and could have decided that it was time to take action.

Samantha Irvin may have decided to leave the company to join All Elite Wrestling down the line. AEW President Tony Khan could have outlined a plan for Irvin that would have allowed her to do much more than her current role in WWE.

Tony Khan has already hired Renee Paquette, formerly known as Renee Young, and also employs former WWE ring announcer Justin Roberts as well. Khan could have made Irvin an offer that she couldn't refuse, including opportunities to host a podcast for the company and potentially host future shows on Max when the company's library arrives on the streaming platform.

The professional wrestling business eventually takes a toll on everyone involved, even those behind the scenes. The business requires extensive travel, and some people ultimately get burnt out.

Irvin simply may have been sick of traveling every week and wanted to break from the hectic schedule. Fightful Select recently reported that several WWE insiders expected her to leave shortly after Ricochet departed, citing a lighter schedule as a motivator.

She could have realized that she wanted more than just a couple of weeks off and decided that her best option would be to leave the company to make way for someone else to take over her role as ring announcer on RAW.
