We move to another pair of NXT Superstars who could serve as rivals to The Riott Squad. In February, Racquel Gonzalez made her first appearance since the Mae Young Classic when she came to the aid of Dakota Kai in a street fight against Tegan Nox at NXT TakeOver: Portland.

Following this, Gonzalez has often interfered with Kai's matches, enabling her to win and establishing the pair as a heel duo in the process. This also included Gonzalez attacking Nox during a steel cage match. More recently, the pair teamed up, joined by Candice LeRae at NXT TakeOver: In Your House. Despite being unsuccessful, the women worked well together.
The pairing of Gonzalez and Kai has helped solidify the duo as heels, often resorting to sneaky tactics to help one another win matches. Having the duo engage in a feud with The Riott Squad could be an interesting one. The rivalry would be able to solidify the face turn of Riott, and also the heel personas of Gonzalez and Kai.
