Putting the United States Title on Bobby Lashley could do multiple things for him as well as his manager Lana.

The title most associated with Lana is the United States, due to the run Rusev had with the title including a hot feud with John Cena which led to Rusev entering his match in a tank. You can add this title into this feud between the two men and give the Championship some more eyeballs than it normally may have.

Not to mention it could give the championship some extra starpower behind it while going into WrestleMania season as well as the upcoming Saudi Arabia show. While Lashley may not be the most loved Superstar on the roster, he is certainly a star and has been a great heel since united with Lana.
