One of the most controversial decisions of night two of WrestleMania saw Charlotte Flair defeat NXT Women's Champion Rhea Ripley to become the NXT Women's Champion for a second time.

Flair is already a 10-time Women's Champion and made it clear that she was the best female wrestler of any era when she defeated Trish Stratus back at SummerSlam, but The Queen had her eyes set on ending the momentum of one of WWE's hottest prospects.

Ripley had everything to lose in this match and she did when she tapped to The Figure 8 to allow Flair to become the champion and head back down to NXT with her prize. It's obvious that this was a decision based on the ratings that NXT has had throughout this feud, but at the same time, it's a decision that has halted the rise of Ripley in the NXT Women's Division.

Whilst Charlotte's future is already mapped out, what does this mean for Ripley, who has come from out of nowhere over the past year and changed the face of the Women's Division?
