The WWE Championship match between Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre was amazing. Both men put their best efforts and produced a classic. If there were people in the arena, they would have gone crazy.

McIntyre won the match and successfully retained his WWE Championship. The surprising thing here was that no one came out to help Seth Rollins. He was on his own. It was like The Messiah had zero disciples.

McIntyre also offered a handshake to Rollins after the match. Rollins shook McIntyre's hand, but it felt a bit weird because he is a heel. And that didn't suit his character. Does this mean that The Monday Night Messiah has failed?

From what it looks like, the feud between Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre has ended. It is also important to note that Rollins now has two big losses at consecutive PPV’s. The Monday Night Messiah gimmick might be great, but losing, again and again, will not help Seth Rollins. We saw on RAW that The Monday Night Messiah destroyed Rey Mysterio. So that could be his next feud. But he was confused about doing what he did.

WWE has answers to provide for the future of Rollins. Is he going to drop the gimmick and turn babyface? Or will he set his sights on something that can actually benefit him?
