Randy Orton and John Cena have faced each other so many times that both wrestlers know each other better than they know themselves. In 2009, John Cena faced Orton inside the cell and together they put on a match for everyone to remember.
Throughout different points of the match, both men had advantages and they used the cell to the best of their ability. Orton hit Cena with a mid-rope DDT to pick up a near-fall and then survived the Attitude Adjustment from John Cena as well.

Orton went on to use steel chairs, but Cena used the STF to nearly win the match. Orton got out and accidentally knocked down the referee. Cena applied the STF after that but the referee was knocked out and didn't see Orton tapping out.
Instead, when Cena checked on the referee, Orton hit the RKO on him and got a near-fall. Randy Orton then used his patented punt kick on Cena winning the WWE title to become the new champion.
