#1 WWE Hell in a Cell 2013: Randy Orton vs Daniel Bryan
Randy Orton faced Daniel Bryan inside the Hell in a Cell structure in a match to determine the new WWE Champion. The title was vacant at the time after their last bout ended in controversy.
Shawn Michaels was picked as the special guest referee on the night to call the match down the middle. Things didn't exactly work out like that.

The match was brutal from the beginning, with Daniel Bryan's third attempt at a suicide dive hitting the cell wall instead of Orton. Orton hit Bryan with a massive superplex onto a pile of steel chairs.
Triple H argued with Shawn Michaels, which distracted him, while Orton attempted an RKO, but Bryan countered. Orton accidentally bumped into Michaels, knocking him down. Triple H entered the Hell in a Cell structure to check on him after that and provoked Bryan.
Bryan hit Triple H with a running knee, and a confused Michaels woke up and hit Bryan with the Sweet Chin Music. Randy Orton was able to get the quick and easy pin after that, winning the match and the WWE title.
