Drew McIntyre was hand-picked to be the next big thing almost a decade ago, and yet, only now is he finally starting to be recognised for what he is - a supremely talented and extremely unique talent. The Scot left WWE for a few years in search of relevancy, and boy oh boy did he find it. Ever since he stepped foot back in NXT last year, the guy has been on a collision course with the WWE or Universal Championship.

McIntyre could quite easily become 'the guy' in the next six months, and it doesn't feel like anyone would be all too opposed to that. For someone of his size, it really is baffling to see what he can do in the ring, and it feels like all of the pieces are starting to come together for him.
