Zelina Vega recently made her return to WWE after being fired from the company in the fall of 2020.
Whilst Vega was away, the company went on to release her husband Aleister Black as part of their annual budget cuts back in April and he has since signed with AEW.
Throughout her WWE career, Vega was aligned with Andrade as his business manager and was even able to feud with her own husband whilst the couple was working in NXT. Despite working closely several times throughout their career, the couple was never acknowledged by the company.

Vega and Black married in a very private ceremony in 2018 and their marriage was only revealed through sources close to the company. It wasn't until a few months later that the couple began updating their social media posts to include each other.
Despite being a well-known couple and even though Vega had left Andrade behind, WWE still opted against allowing the real-life couple to work together on TV.
