In 2017, the war of words between former WCW star Bret Hart and former WCW executive vice president Eric Bischoff reached new heights when Hart claimed his former boss rejected the chance to use Mike Tyson on WCW programming before the boxer’s appearances in WWE.
In response, Bischoff tweeted that Hart’s claim was “absolute nonsense” and advised him to undergo a dementia check, while he later stated that the former world champion was “like a broken toy” after he signed him for WCW in 1997.
Never one to shy away from an opinion, Hart hit back on The Sam Roberts Wrestling podcast, insisting that he “wanted to take on the world” during his time in WCW before labelling Bischoff “the worst loser maggot that ever got into wrestling”.
