In the days following Big Cass’ release from WWE in June 2018, there were plenty of suggestions from fans and former WWE performers that the 7-footer could reunite with Enzo Amore and continue to make big money on the independent scene.
Time will tell if Cass decides to pursue a wrestling career outside of WWE, but it certainly doesn’t look like he will be getting back together with Enzo any time soon.
Speaking recently to The Store Horseman, Real1 (fka Enzo) revealed that he hasn’t spoken to his former tag partner since they fought in a Brooklyn street fight the night after SummerSlam 2017.
The match was supposed to be the big payoff to their long-running summer rivalry. However, Cass was unable to continue after suffering an ACL injury and the victory was awarded to Enzo due to forfeit.
While the former Cruiserweight champion said he has no ill-feelings towards Cass, he added that he "will never be able to forgive him" for not finishing the match, regardless of how much pain he was in.
