Dana Brooke and Dolph Ziggler began dating in mid-2015. During that time, Brooke had just signed with WWE and was working on NXT whereas Ziggler was involved in one of the most famous storylines of that year with Rusev on RAW.

It's believed that Brooke needed more time to focus on her WWE career as she was just promoted to the main roster to ally with Charlotte Flair on RAW. At the same time, Ziggler was also drafted on SmackDown, where he'd start pursuing the WWE Championship. Since the couple couldn't find much time to spend together with, they decided to go their separate ways.
Following their split, Brooke dated one of the most famous bodybuilders, Dallas McCarver. McCarver sadly pass away at the age of 26.
