#2 Better results
Nobody minds being at the opposite end of the result they predicted, but a good result counts. The Miz vs Daniel Bryan and Braun Strowman vs Kevin Owens just did not go the way one would have predicted.
While that's okay, but a PPV has to be something more than that. Both of these fights felt like SmackDown and RAW segments of 'results gone wrong'. Many predicted that Kevin Owens might take the briefcase home or at least give a great fight after being manhandled from the monster for months now.
AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe and Tommaso Ciampa vs Johny Gargano also had similar endings but only after a lengthy period of in-ring performances accompanied by breathtaking moments and inimitable moves. TakeOver received an amazing crowd response, something which the WWE Universe failed in delivering.
