AJ Styles and Edge traded blows for the first time at Royal Rumble 2020.

After spearing through his first few victims, Edge ran into the former WWE Champion. He then proceeded to hit Styles with a vicious Spear, a move that dislocated AJ's left shoulder. Rubbing salt on his wounds, Edge threw AJ off the top rope.

WWE can capitalize on the events that happened during Styles' first confrontation with Edge. The Phenomenal One might still be furious about Edge putting him on the shelf and would like to make him pay for his actions.

#3. It is a match that could elevate the WWE United States Championship

Damian Priest is currently the reigning United States Champion. Despite being a consistent performer, his title reign has been underwhelming so far.

Right now, The Archer of Infamy is in a rivalry with AJ Styles. If WWE hopes to bring prestige back to the United States title, they should consider making Styles the new champion.

While AJ might also win the WWE title at Elimination Chamber, it'd be better if he stays in the mid-card for a while to elevate the entire division. This title change would benefit WWE in many ways.

Firstly, it would allow Damian Priest to rebuild his character, which has suffered due to his inconsistent booking. Moreover, it would give Edge a solid reason to target The Phenomenal One.

Since his return, Edge has been challenged for the Universal Championship multiple times. Unfortunately, he came up short in all those matches. The Rated-R Superstar would not want to end the most memorable run of his career without winning a single title.
