In terms of improvements since the brand split, Alexa Bliss has been one of the stand-out performers on either Raw or SmackDown Live. The SD Women's Champion is extremely capable in the ring, and her overall work since first appearing on the blue brand has been better than anyone could have possibly anticipated.
With that being said, it's time to consider the possibility that the former NXT Superstar could be the next female face of the company. As we've touched on before, her work draws a lot of comparisons to Trish Stratus, and her position in WWE could soon rival that of Trish in her prime.
That, in itself, is a huge compliment. Not many women get to reach the top in WWE and be considered on the same level as some of the male competitors, but Bliss has the tools necessary to break down those boundaries with ease.

Her commitment to her craft and obvious dedication, when it comes to constantly improving herself is there for all to see, and she's already started reaping the rewards.
Obviously, we need to be objective and there's still a long way to go, so with that in mind here are five reasons why Alexa Bliss will become the female face of World Wrestling Entertainment.
#1 Charisma
If you're going to thrive as a WWE Superstar, you need to tick every box. You can't just be solid in the ring or just have personality because unless you're able to combine all the traits required, Vince likely isn't going to trust you with a big title within the company.
That being said, Bliss certainly has the charisma to back up her work in the ring. Her constant facial expressions coupled with a growing confidence on the microphone draws the audience in on a weekly basis, and the important thing about her character is that she's actually believable.
The spoiled little girl who thinks she's better than everyone is a role that Bliss plays to absolute perfection. With her cheerleading and bodybuilding background, you can feel that personality shine through when she's portraying a heel, and the fact she knows that she is better than everyone in the division is what makes her so appealing.
Speaking of appealing, we move onto another aspect of her game.
#2 Marketability
While it's not even remotely the most important factor here, Alexa has the right look necessary to thrive in the WWE. Her small stature works with her gritty in-ring work, and her natural beauty makes it difficult for fans not to be drawn towards her the second she walks out onto the ramp.
Her Harley Quinn character, as well as her ability to constantly re-invent different aspects of her attire, makes her one of the most valuable assets WWE has on the women's roster.
The clear demand for more merchandise related to Bliss has resulted in her popularity soaring even higher, making it hard to argue that she's one of the most marketable women in professional wrestling.
It's not like they're ever going to be short on ideas, either. Bliss can make a lot of different styles work dependent on her character alignment, which is rare considering how many women within the industry tend to be one dimensional. With that being said, let's expand on the idea of her adaptability.
#3 Diversity
In professional wrestling, naturally, there's going to be a point in time where a heel or babyface turn is required. No matter how big the storyline or Superstar, you very rarely come across someone who is able to stay within one character arch for the entirety of their careers.
For Bliss, she won't have any problem whatsoever if she's called upon for a babyface change. Given that she originally worked as such down in NXT, you can tell that she can pull it off, plus on all her social media accounts there are images of her with fans, where she has a smile that just screams "bad girl gone good".
Just take her initial heel turn for example. One flick of the switch in the form of a hair colour change from blue to red made her seem like a different performer entirely, opening the eyes of the WWE Universe to the potential that she possessed.
Speaking of potential and social media, the next point could be her biggest yet.
#4 Fan following
In the modern day era of World Wrestling Entertainment, where social media is so heavily relied upon, Alexa Bliss needs to be referenced when it comes to Superstars who are making a name for themselves on different platforms. No matter when or where she posts something, the Women's Champion always knows how to get a reaction.
In terms of numbers alone, Bliss' rise has been ongoing for a long time now. With 894,000 Instagram followers in addition to 425,000 Twitter followers, you can already see the impact that she's made so early on in her WWE career. Given her age, the only way is surely up from here.
Plus, she always knows how to play the professional. She never rises to any bait from trolls, constantly maintains her ‘bitchy’ persona and shows her appreciation for fans if and when necessary.
Some may think she needs to play the heel a tad more across her profiles, but apart from that, she's the example of how WWE Superstars should use the various marketing tools at their disposal. For the final selection, we go with an obvious trait.
#5 Athleticism
As a former cheerleader and body builder, this one isn't too surprising. Whilst she still has some work to do when it comes to perfecting her in-ring abilities, in terms of athleticism there aren't many better than Little Miss Bliss.
Whether it's her finisher off the top rope or her extremely diverse move set, you always know you're going to be impressed at some point during an Alexa bout.
Hell, she even went so far as to "pop" her arm back into place during a match with Becky Lynch and showed off how double jointed she was. It threw a lot of the crowd off guard, but it was one of many clever techniques that she utilises inside the squared circle.
For someone who hasn't been in the business that long, Bliss is overwhelmingly impressive. No, we aren't saying she's the greatest of all time, but what we are saying is that she's right up there with the likes of Sasha Banks when it comes to being the female face of the company. It's only a matter of time.
