WWE and Vince McMahon need a bigger match for Super Showdown

WWE likes to put on some of their best matches in Saudi Arabia and while the company usually does a good job at this, it seems like they are reaching with Ricochet versus Brock Lesnar. It's almost as if the company just needs some kind of stop-gap between now and WrestleMania, and they decided to fill it with Ricochet

As if that wasn't enough, Lesnar is going up against not such a big Superstar, which is a huge departure from his usual string of opponents at events like this. For example, Lesnar faced Cain Velasquez in Saudi Arabia late last year and ended up defeating him on under a minute by submission. He also faced Braun Strowman in a title match there a year ago, which he also won.

With that being said, those matches had something that this one won't and that is mainstream appeal. In fact, between Richochet not being a top Superstar yet and the match pretty much being a forgone conclusion, one would have to wonder why the company would go with this choice?
