Storyline wise, it made sense for Charlotte Flair to be the mystery partner of Asuka at TLC 2020 against the team of Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. It was Nia Jax who viciously attacked Charlotte Flair on an episode of Monday Night RAW in June 2020 and severely injured her (in Kayfabe), and forced her out of action.

This past week on Monday Night RAW, we saw Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler viciously attack Lana following Jax's loss to her, injuring her and taking her out of the TLC 2020 WWE Women's Tag Team Championship match. Who better to replace her than Charlotte Flair, the one who faced a similar fate earlier this year?

We are likely going to see a singles feud between Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax in the coming weeks as it was Shayna Baszler who was pinned tonight. The Queen would surely be looking to take revenge for that attack by Nia Jax and let her know why she should not have messed with her.
