WWE NXT has a roster full of WWE Superstars that are considered to be the future of WWE

WWE NXT's main purpose is to help train developmental talent at the WWE Performance Center, preparing them for an eventual spot on WWE's main roster.

While success on the black and gold brand doesn't necessarily always translate to success on RAW or SmackDown, NXT is meant to serve as a platform where talents can learn the "WWE style" while also honing in on their character which is being presented on WWE television.

Over the past twelve months, Daniel Bryan has shown a desire to put over and help create new superstars for the next generation. The former WWE Champion has competed in matches and feuds against the likes of Drew Gulak and Cesaro in an effort to help push the two WWE Superstars to the next level.

By moving to NXT, Daniel Bryan would be able to perform a similar task with a variety of NXT Superstars. Seen as a brand to get talents ready for the main roster, Daniel Bryan could assume the position of a veteran superstar on NXT that has great matches with promising talents, elevating them to the next level and getting the talents ready for their eventual run on Monday Night RAW or Friday Night SmackDown.
