One would not be exaggerating if he/she were to say that the fact that Drew McIntyre won the WWE Championship on RAW this week was the only thing getting us pumped for Survivor Series 2020.
There has been absolutely no build at all for the Asuka vs. Sasha Banks match at Survivor Series, and while Sami Zayn has mentioned Bobby Lashley by name on SmackDown, it's not like anyone is excited to see them engage in combat again, because of the atrocious 'Lashley's Sisters' segment.
So, as things stand, because there was no invasion angle at the end of the night to introduce the inter-brand element into Survivor Series, Drew McIntyre vs. Roman Reigns, the only match that has had some kind of build is the one thing that fans can look forward to.
In fact, the fact that Drew McIntyre became the WWE Champion has now become a topic of conversation on WWE forums and social media, and could get fans interested to see the event.
