#1 Edge got his 'sweet revenge' on Randy Orton in the biggest way possible

Edge and Randy Orton entered the 2021 Men's Royal Rumble Match in the first and second spot respectively. Interestingly, these two were also the final two contenders in the match. In the closing moments, Edge eliminated Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman, only for Orton to sneak in and hit the RKO on The Rated-R Superstar.

It almost looked as if Orton will eliminate Edge to win the Royal Rumble for a third time. However, Edge turned the tables and threw The Viper out, winning the Royal Rumble for the second time in his career.

Edge and Randy Orton had a massive rivalry last year, which was still not over with Orton defeating The Rated-R Superstar at WWE Backlash 2020, following which Edge got injured and was out of action. Recently on Monday Night RAW, Randy Orton revealed his intentions to win the Royal Rumble once again.

By eliminating him last, Edge took the perfect 'sweet revenge' against Orton, probably ending their feud for now. At the same time, this could surely be used later to set up a third match between the two.
