5 reasons Goldberg winning the Rumble would be bad for business

Goldberg was first an NFL player before being a wrestler

Off the top of my head, I can literally name 20 other superstars who would be more deserving of a Royal Rumble win than Goldberg.

A 2-minute match with Brock Lesnar does not warrant winning the third biggest pay-per-view of the year. Two minutes of wrestling compared to a year's worth of nightly grafting from the current roster is ridiculous.

Part-timers rush into the company around Wrestlemania season and capitalise on all the hard work put in by the active wrestlers. Instead of seeing the root issue, some will justify their presence with silly reasons. Why does it matter that Goldberg has a kid?

Plenty of wrestlers on the roster have children, and they see their Dad job out every single week. I just can't get my head around the appeal of Goldberg in 2017. It's a new year, a new age, a new era. Get with the times.
