#4 Roman Reigns versus Jimmy Uso is inevitable from a story-line perspective
From a pure storyline perspective, Roman Reigns versus Jimmy Uso makes perfect sense. The two cousins share a rich, storied history as members of the legendary Anoa'i family. By combining that with their escalating on-screen tension, WWE could produce an incredible program that could boost fan interest.
Before Roman Reigns' abrupt character change, The Usos were close comrades of the current Universal Champion, aiding their cousin against his worst rivals. After The Tribal Chief's heel turn, the whole story changed dramatically.
At Clash of Champions, when his brother, Jey Uso, was being decimated by the Tribal Chief, Jimmy Uso came to his brother's aid. Roman Reigns was punching away at Jey, who refused to quit. However, Jimmy threw in the towel to protect his brother from further damage.
Later in Hell in a Cell, when Roman Reigns was about to crush Jey with the steel steps, Jimmy Uso entered the cell to persuade Reigns not to injure his cousin. The Tribal Chief would break down into tears but would lock in the Guillotine on Jimmy Uso. This forced Jey to utter the words " I quit."
Jimmy Uso brought this point up on television. Jey uttered the words; Jimmy didn't. Roman Reigns was unable to gain the acknowledgment of Jimmy Uso. Moreover, Jimmy Uso's defiance and unresolved issues from the past persist. The story writes itself; it just needs to be booked to come to fruition.
