#4 The WWE Universe hasn't seen the dark side of Kofi Kingston yet
Kofi Kingston is an amiable, high-spirited, and resilient star on television, and he embodies the power of positivity. His character is a way of life for him, and dating back to his debut in 2008, Kingston has gained a reputation for being a genuine fan-favorite.
Most fans may recall that Kofi Kingston briefly became a heel in 2015. Along with Xavier Woods and Big E, the veteran cheated his way out of matches and behaved like a coward. Still, the trio upheld its value of optimism. Their preposterousness and enthusiasm entertained the WWE Universe, so it was hard to boo them.
Eventually, the New Day became a popular act, and they turned face in early 2016. Together, these three stars were top merchandise sellers during the peak of their popularity.
Even before the dawn of the New Day, Kingston was a lovable, respectable character. But after he was repeatedly the opportunities he deserved, an immeasurable amount of frustration and fury must have built up inside him. Clearly, his perpetual optimism and patience haven't produced a lot of in-ring success lately.
Kingston could easily follow the path that took Seth Rollins to stardom. He turned his back on Roman Reigns and Jon Moxley, formerly known as Dean Ambrose, in June 2014. The Architect's WWE career took off from that moment, as he became one of the company's premier stars.
A selfish, deplorable, and evil version of Kofi Kingston is something fans haven't seen yet. As history suggests, Kingston could greatly benefit from a heel turn.
