#3 The Hurt Business can elevate Kofi Kingston to great heights
As one of the most consistent and talented wrestlers in WWE, Kofi Kingston deserves to be at the top of the mountain. An honorable man like him would want to take the long route, but the Hurt Business provides a shorter, guaranteed path to the summit.
Kofi Kingston could benefit from the Hurt Business the same way the reigning WWE Champion has. Before he aligned with MVP, Bobby Lashley was in an odd alliance with Lana that was going nowhere. Breaking off all ties with his on-screen wife and manager turned his career around.
Lashley went on to win the United States Championship three months later, and he held onto it for six months. The All Mighty then achieved his dream of winning the WWE Championship. Clearly, the Hurt Business took Lashley to new heights.
Cedric Alexander was treading water on the main roster when MVP singled him out as a potential member of this dominant faction. Alexander was reluctant, but he gave in to the former US Champion's offer. In doing so, the former Cruiserweight Champion became relevant again. Alexander received more attention and screen-time than ever before as part of the Hurt Business.
Likewise, Shelton Benjamin had become just another guy on the main roster. However, the Hurt Business breathed life into his character, and he won the RAW Tag Team Championships with Alexander.
Lashley kicked out Alexander and Benjamin from the faction a few weeks before WrestleMania. While both men quickly lost steam, they would have remained relevant as members of the Hurt Business.
Kofi Kingston's status on RAW would certainly receive a boost by joining Lashley and MVP. The Hurt Business brought the best out of its members, and it could do the same for Kingston.
Although he might have to use questionable tactics, Kofi Kingston will get his career back on track as a loyal member of the Hurt Business.
