When Kofi Kingston pinned Bobby Lashley on the night after WrestleMania Backlash, most fans were pleased with the outcome. They wanted the Dreadlocked Dynamo back in the main event scene, which had become fairly stale. Right away, fans started rooting for KofiMania: Part Two.

But Kingston moved back out of contention after his loss to Drew McIntyre. Lashley and McIntyre have dominated the main event scene with their stale WWE Championship program for the past four months. Their matches have been spectacular, but fans lost interest in the feud a while ago.

As long as Lashley is WWE Champion, his allies will play prominent roles. Given his impressive dominance, the All Mighty should remain champion for a long time. Therefore, Kingston would gain a significant position on WWE RAW by joining the Hurt Business.

Kofi Kingston would add a new dimension to the WWE Championship picture, as he could become a focal point in the upper-card. He can also single-handedly breathe new life into the main event picture.

By virtue of their alliance, Lashley's opponents will not only be facing him, but they'd have to deal with Kingston, too. This pattern was evident during The All Mighty's United States Championship reign. Shelton Benjamin, MVP, and Cedric Alexander were always at his side so they could tip the odds in his favor.

Roman Reigns is another example, as he made Jey Uso a featured player on WWE SmackDown. The current WWE Champion could do the same thing for Kofi Kingston.
