To align with Bobby Lashley and MVP, Kingston would need to stab Xavier Woods in the back. This shocking betrayal would lead to an emotional rivalry between Kingston and Woods. Their feud would probably be similar to Seth Rollins' rivalry with Dean Ambrose in the summer of 2014.

Elsewhere, Drew McIntyre prevented Kofi Kingston from challenging for the WWE Championship. The two stars shook hands after the match, but with a new attitude, Kingston could seek revenge on the Scottish Warrior.

Lastly, joining the Hurt Business would bring Kingston closer to the WWE Championship. The multi-time Intercontinental Champion never received his rematch after he lost the top prize to Lesnar.
