Shayna Baszler isn't like most of the other women on the WWE roster and while that is a usually a good thing, it has made it difficult for the company to figure out what to do with her. She was booked as an unstoppable force and a legit threat to Becky Lynch's title reign at WrestleMania 36. However, that was undone at the Grandest Stage Of Them All when she lost to The Man.

Her win at Payback alongside Nia Jax seems to be a step taken by WWE to rebuild her. The finish in the WWE Women's Tag Team Title match at Payback showcased The Submission Magician as a force to be reckoned with in the months to come.

In the end, a win over Sasha Banks and Bayley is no fluke. The Golden Role Models have been the driving force of the Women's division recently and Baszler finishing them off herself is a huge statement on WWE's part.

It might even be the beginning of Baszler eventually returning to the RAW women's title picture, but she will probably have to go through Nia Jax first.
