WWE has done an amazing job of turning Braun Strowman into a heel, which is why Roman Reigns returning seems like such a troubling move. In fact, between losing the Universal Title to The Fiend and then getting beaten down by Roman Reigns, it's hard to know where this leaves him.

Furthermore, with WWE revealing that Roman Reigns versus The Fiend versus Braun Strowman will take place at Payback, it looks like WWE's intention is to shift focus away from Strowman. In fact, he might even end up taking the deciding fall in the triple threat match this weekend and fall into the midcard.

In the end, it's difficult to watch WWE do such a great job in making Strowman into a heel character and then completely blow it aside in favor of Roman Reigns. It also doesn't bode well for Strowman's future as a competitor and pretty much guarantees he will not get back into the title picture anytime soon.
