#2. Roman Reigns return creates doubt about The Fiend's title run
The Fiend is now the Universal Champion again and while that would usually be a momentous occasion, some of the bite was taken out of his big moment due to the return of Roman Reigns. Now, that doesn't mean Roman Reigns returning is bad for business, but the timing just seems a little off with everything that happened.
Furthermore, Roman Reigns attacking The Fiend moments after winning the Universal title now leads to the two facing off with Strowman in a Triple Threat Match at Payback. While that might seem like a great match to have at a time like this, especially since it's a B-Level pay per view, it creates doubt about whether or not The Fiend will win again.
Which, sure, builds suspense and interest in the match - so props to WWE for that - but it also has to make one wonder if The Fiend doesn't regain the title at Payback, what was the point of him winning it on Sunday at all?
