In fact, it almost seems like no one else on Friday Night SmackDown has the type of momentum that Roman Reigns needs to play off right now.

In all honesty, there simply isn't anyone on Friday Night SmackDown that has any business in the title picture right now. While that might seem a little harsh, none of them can top what WWE is doing with Roman Reigns and Jey Uso.

WWE could choose to move away from the path of Roman Reigns vs. Jey Uso if they want to, but it comes at the risk of hurting the momentum they have built. Furthermore, if the company is going where some fans think they are going, this would be the perfect way to build on that.
