Sami Zayn is currently part of the Monday Night RAW roster and holds the Intercontinental Championship. The former Bloodline member is also expected to defend his IC title at SummerSlam 2024.

However, Roman Reigns is expected to return at The Biggest Party of the Summer to initiate his rivalry against Solo Sikoa and his Bloodline. Meanwhile, to deal with the new version of the Samoan faction, Roman will need allies by his side. This raises the possibility of Sami Zayn returning to The Bloodline storyline by reuniting with The Tribal Chief.

In this article, we will discuss five reasons why the IC Champion should never reunite with Roman and The Bloodline.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

#5. Sami Zayn is not a real-life Bloodline member

One of the primary reasons why Sami Zayn should not reunite with Roman Reigns ahead of the potential Bloodline Civil War is that Sami is not a real-life Bloodline member.

This time, the family warfare is all about who is the real Head of the Table, so it makes sense if only the real-life Bloodline members are incorporated into this story. Since the former Honorary Uce doesn't have a blood connection with The Bloodline, it's best to have him stay out of the storyline.

#4. Sami Zayn's reign as Intercontinental Champion is going well on RAW

If WWE decides to have Sami Zayn reunite with Roman Reigns in The Bloodline saga, this would require Zayn to drop his Intercontinental Championship on Monday Night RAW and move to SmackDown to engage in the family drama.

Dropping the IC Title could prove to be a poor choice, as his title reign is going well on the red brand. In recent weeks, his storyline with Ilja Dragunov and Bron Breakker has been a main highlight of the show. Therefore, it's better to keep Sami as a champion on RAW rather than have him leave the brand to reunite with The Head of the Table.

#3. Too much bad blood between Reigns and Zayn

During Sami's tenure as The Honorary Uce of The Bloodline, he was the one who betrayed Roman Reigns by deciding to stand against the faction. Following this betrayal, Roman and Sami also clashed in an Undisputed Championship match where The Tribal Chief emerged victorious.

With so much bad blood already existing between these two, it's unlikely that Roman would forget the past, even if he turns babyface upon his return. This provides another compelling reason why Zayn should not reunite with Reigns in The Bloodline saga.

#2. Honorary Uce was an underdog comedy character

The character Sami Zayn had in The Bloodline is too distinct from his current persona. At that time, the IC Champion was an underdog comedy character who kept the faction members entertained.

However, his current character is a main event-level star who is a fighting champion. So, just for the sake of nostalgia, diminishing the character of Zayn is not a good decision.

#1. Hikuleo could be a better option

While Sami Zayn is not a real-life Bloodline member, Hikuleo is a better option to join Roman Reigns in this family warfare. Hikuleo is part of The Bloodline in real life, and recent reports suggest that he has signed with the Stamford-based promotion.

With this progress, it's better to have Hikuleo join The Tribal Chief rather than Zayn leaving the red brand and dropping his IC Title for the same.
