One of the biggest benefits of having Sami Zayn win the WWE Elimination Chamber match will be giving Roman Reigns a chance to compete later without any shackles.

Kevin Owens has been in a long-running rivalry against The Tribal Chief, and The Prizefighter's victory in the Elimination Chamber match followed by a match against Reigns will likely keep him involved for longer.

A victory for Cesaro or Daniel Bryan would likely prompt the WWE Universe to call for a longer rivalry rather than just one match.

On the other hand, King Corbin has already been a part of several Universal Championship matches in the past, and he has to continue his rivalry against The Mysterios on SmackDown.

Keeping all this in mind, Zayn could be the perfect opponent for Reigns to face just once for the title. After losing against Reigns, Zayn could continue his gimmick as a Conspiracy Theorist and demand a rematch without any outcome.

It looks like Edge will challenge Reigns for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania. Therefore, a one-off match between Reigns and Zayn will allow The Tribal Chief to remain free on the Road to WrestleMania so that Edge could come in and challenge him for a match at The Show of Shows.
