If Seth Rollins becomes the next WWE Champion, he could work with the likes of Finn Balor, Kevin Owens, and promising stars such as Gable Steveson to elevate them all. Yes, even veterans like Balor and Owens need elevating because of how they've been booked in the recent past.
When it comes to the heels that Big E could potentially work with, both Bobby and, let's say,'s say AJ Styles, don't need the rub. Seth Rollins winning is just the smarter decision for the entire roster.

#1 Big E's character as a singles star is not defined yet

Seth Rollins' character may not be everyone's cup of tea. That said, with the flashy suits and the annoying laughter, at least it is properly defined unlike Big E's.
Big E still carries elements from his New Day run with the hip swiveling. There's something about his gimmick that just feels like it's not been completely thought-through just about yet. Maybe it'll happen with time.
