#4 Sonya Deville needs to bust out of the shadows
Make no mistake about it, this feud has been built around one thing - Sonya Deville's drive to be successful. She tried bringing Mandy Rose along for the ride, or at least that's what she claims. When the Hacker outed Deville's devious plot to keep Mandy away from Otis, the two friends ended up having a falling out.
Now, for the first time in 5 years, Sonya Deville is standing on her own two feet. When Sportskeeda spoke to Deville last week she seemed pretty excited to be riding solo.
"It's the greatest feeling ever, you know? Everyone can relate to what it feels like to be stuck in somebody's shadows. You know? I feel like it's always like Lucy and Ethel... And I feel like I was a part of Absolution and it was me, Paige and Mandy. And then it was Fire and Desire. It was me and Mandy and like I’ve said, I walked out to her entrance music. And she kind of played more of the prominent role. So there was a certain amount of frustration that's real when you're, when you're living that."
The argument has been made that since Sonya has gotten the better of Mandy nearly every step of the way during this feud, that Rose should finally get her retribution at SummerSlam.
When you think about it however, until this year, it's always been about Mandy Rose. She's the one who's been featured more prominently of the two. She's the one who's gotten the chance to compete for Money in the Bank. She's the one who's been involved in more storylines - even if it was something as dumb as trying to steal Naomi's husband. At least it was something.
Sonya Deville finally has the opportunity to be put over Mandy Rose emphatically, so WWE should go ahead and put Mandy over again? I don't think so.
