5 reasons why splitting up Enzo and Cass would be a bad idea

Enzo can feel the rumours in the air...

#4 The main event and the mid card are already full

“We wanna stay friends!”

We’ve just seen a Fatal 5-Way go ahead to determine the number one contender for the Universal Championship. All 5 men would have been legitimate winners, but unfortunately, only one can move forward and face The Beast. The rest are left dangling in the void of the upper mid-card with nothing much to do and no real storylines sometimes.

If Enzo and Cass were to split up, especially with the Hardyz, you would expect an even spread between mid-card and main event. Naturally, I think we’d see Jeff Hardy in the main event and Big Cass too as he has had an opportunity to become the number 1 contender for the Universal Championship.

This would mean that Enzo and Matt would go to the mid-card and that too is full at the moment. If anything, the stars that are in the mid-card are WWE Championship quality, with the likes of Dean Ambrose and The Miz making the Intercontinental Championship feel like the most important on the card.

We’ve just had a superstar shake up, so it would make no sense to send any of the men to another brand either. They should stay as a tag team as that is the division that is lagging behind.
