I don’t want to see Enzo and Cass compete against each other. They are so entertaining as a team, but I think pitting them against each other would be a complete mismatch and fail on most every level.
Let’s look at it step by step. The reason they work well together is that their styles are so different. Enzo is a small, pesky hit and run type wrestler and Big Cass is the big powerhouse. Usually, matches of this nature don’t really work, and it can be hard to get behind it. It’d be like Scotty Too Hotty taking on the Big Show. Want to see that? Me neither.
Enzo is the voice of the group as I’ve touched on throughout the article. He’s certainly got the gift of the gab and is an absolute natural on the microphone. Big Cass, on the other hand, can be a bit monotone and the only reason he gets away with it is because his lines are always preceded by the Smacktalker Skywalker, Enzo himself.
Enzo would destroy Big Cass on the mic, which would kill the big man’s character and make for a weird dynamic going into their singles match. It’s easy to see that he’d be the most entertaining part of the feud, but it wouldn’t last long.
The crowd love them too much, which leads me to the final point.
