#2 The UK fans deserve SummerSlam

SummerSlam always delivers when it comes to fan participation. That being said, the fans from the United Kingdom are some of the loudest and most passionate. No matter what the event is, they always bring a fantastic atmosphere with them. It usually adds to the events, with the most entertaining being RAW, the night after WrestleMania. The event is usually littered with fans who have traveled over to the States looking for a great time.

UK fans are loyal and are always engaging with the product. They undoubtedly deserve a huge pay-per-view to reward them. Even without a major pay-per-view for 18 years, they turn up in their droves every time WWE arrives on their shores and enjoy it to the fullest.

#1 It would be the 30th anniversary of SummerSlam 1992 at Wembley

The number one reason why SummerSlam should head to the UK in 2022 is for a historical factor. The event will mark the 30-year anniversary of SummerSlam taking place at Wembley Stadium in 1992. WWE made history with their first outdoor UK stadium pay-per-view event with over 80,000 fans in attendance.

The WWE Universe remembers the event fondly. The main event saw hometown hero British Bulldog defeat Bret 'The Hitman' Hart to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship. It is regarded as one of the greatest matches that WWE has ever produced.

WWE certainly should have this historical factor in the back of their minds when it comes to deciding upon SummerSlam's venue for 2022. The UK deserves it. The fans deserve it. Here's hoping history will be made once again.
