#1 To set up a feud between The Miz and John Morrison

When John Morrison returned to WWE earlier this year, the expectation was that he would be used as a singles Superstar in the mid-card or the main-event scene. Instead, WWE immediately paired him up with The Miz, reforming their famous alliance.

The two have had a successful run together, winning the SmackDown Tag Team Championships once and being involved in some hilarious segments together. Interestingly, WWE also teased tensions between The Miz and John Morrison earlier this year when they took on Braun Strowman in a two-on-one handicap match for the Universal Championship.

We have seen many instances of titles and glories coming in the way of friendship and the same might happen in the case of The Miz and John Morrison. If someone like Tucker can turn on Otis, what's stopping Morrison from doing the same to The Miz? A feud between the two would surely be interesting even though it would come at the expense of WWE having to lose yet another tag-team from its division.
