#2. Hell in a Cell will set the stage for the summer
The summer of 2021 will be massive for WWE and Hell in a Cell will be the precursor for its upcoming months. Fans will return in large numbers and gather inside arenas, restoring the electric ambiance live events had before the pandemic changed everything.
As Hell in a Cell is the last pay-per-view before the WWE Universe's return, it is vitally important. It will serve as a prelude to what things will be like on July 16, the first night with a live crowd.

Fans will have a clearer idea as to who would be representing the red brand as the top guy. Will it be Bobby Lashley or Drew McIntyre? What is next for the Scottish Warrior if he loses? These questions will be answered at Hell in a Cell.
The pay-per-view will also set the stage for the summer's biggest storylines. While it's unlikely the Universal Championship will not change hands, Roman Reigns' program with the Mysterios is in its early stages. Questions like how the Usos and Dominik will factor into the rivalry will be answered at the event.
