McIntyre faced Reigns at 'Mania
After dominating the Raw brand for a good while, McIntyre's aura cooled off and he was put into a throwaway team alongside Bobby Lashley and Baron Corbin. It seemed that things would take a turn for the better when McIntyre got Reigns as his opponent at WrestleMania 35, but this didn't change things one bit.

After The Show of Shows was done with, McIntyre turned into a lackey to Shane McMahon, helping him defeat Roman Reigns at Super ShowDown. Someone as talented as McIntyre needs to be pushed on his own, instead of turning him into a sidekick again, especially looking at how his association with Dolph Ziggler turned out. This match would give him another shot at ascending back to the top of the card, leading to a potential main event run and a Universal Title shot.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
