While part-timers are still a highly polarizing subject in WWE right now, a lot of fans don't stop to consider the benefits of using them. In fact, between bigger box office draws when the main attraction does show up and the mainstream attention it also brings, the company is simply doing what's best for business by utilizing part-timers.
With that being said, WWE has even started to tweak this formula a bit and bring in crossover stars to compete in his company. Yes, WWE has been doing this to some extent for decades now, but when Brock Lesnar returned to WWE after WrestleMania 28, the entire game changed.

In today's WWE, crossover stars like Ronda Rousey, Cain Velasquez, Brock Lesnar, and Tyson Fury are at the top of the mountain and that shows no sign of stopping. Fortunately for The WWE Universe, McMahon seems to have the presence of mind to know that these stars can be utilized to legitimatize their roster, which is why he belongs in control of the product.
