AJ Styles has been the longest WWE Champion of the modern era after CM Punk and now holds the record for the longest World title reign in Smackdown history.
It is a shame that WWE has forgotten about the WWE Championship. AJ Styles has been one of the longest reigning WWE Champions, but it doesn't seem that way. Without AJ getting the main event spot, it feels like his reign is not that big of a deal or he is not holding a singles title.
