The 'Road to WrestleMania' has officially begun, but The Striking Man from Amsterdam has no competition by his side, and that is shocking as the wrestler has all the skills to be a main-event player. While Aleister Black wasn't the favorite to win the Royal Rumble match, but his presence in the ring for a mere 5 minutes and 6 seconds with no eliminations doesn't add too much to his demeanor.
The wrestler was a top wrestler on NXT but has been reduced to just fighting with local talents or cut promos, which haven't yielded any fruitful results for the former NXT champion. He has the persona of a wrestler that can sell storylines, and also help others hone their craft.

With WrestleMania season underway, this may just be the right time for the wrestler to step up his game, and instead of waiting for a fight to come to him, it seems like bringing the fight to his possible or worthy opponents is a good idea.
The event will take place in three months, and so there is ample time to build a storyline.
