#4 NXT Superstars may pay the price
NXT had a great 2019 which allowed the brand to gain a lot of momentum which was boosted heavily by the performance of its Superstars at Survivor Series.
While the Black & Gold brand proved to be the superior brand at the pay-per-view, the entire thing died down much quickly as compared to Shane McMahon’s World Cup win.
This year, fans have been hoping to see an equal quota of NXT Superstars take part in the two Royal Rumble matches as they’ve proven that they’re as good as anyone else in the company if not better.
However, the company could now even use some lesser-known NXT Superstars in the match and allow them to face Brock Lesnar’s wrath before getting eliminated quickly.
On the other hand, some top NXT Superstars may not be able to fit well with The Beast in the ring too and lose out on an opportunity of a lifetime.
While Lesnar has rubbed shoulders with many RAW and SmackDown Superstars, the Royal Rumble match could be his first encounter with multiple NXT athletes.
