#1 It could hurt Lesnar’s image
While a Championship spot for WrestleMania 36 will be on the line during the Royal Rumble match, Lesnar’s image may be on the line too.

Paul Heyman has built Lesnar as an unconquerable force who is ready to enter the match at No. 1 and take on 29 other men to show his supremeness and win the match.
However, if Lesnar is unable to do so, he might end up losing some credibility as ‘The Beast Incarnate’.
Not only will his elimination hurt his image, but an elimination by some lesser-known Superstar or someone like Tyson Fury or Cain Velasquez will cause a big disruption and make the WWE Champion look weaker.
The Royal Rumble enables many Superstars to work together to eliminate the bigger men, and Lesnar’s elimination could have drastic effects on his value as the WWE Champion.
On the other hand, if Lesnar does go on to win the Rumble, it’ll be strange to see him challenge the Universal Champion for WrestleMania 36 while holding the WWE Championship himself.
Just like Lesnar’s Money in the Bank briefcase victory last year, fans will not enjoy his victory in the Royal Rumble as he doesn’t need anything to get a big match for a Championship in WWE.
